Review the writing techniques on the page and, using a minimum of one scholarly source from the library, write a two to three paragraph (150 to 200 words) persuasive statement explaining why your university is a good place to earn an education. Consider your audience as other adult learners and prospective adult learners. You can choose to craft a statement useful to all prospective students, focus on an academic discipline, or another important aspect of your college experience. Make sure your introductory comments clearly identify your target audience.
Guided Response: Review several of your peers posts, responding to at least three of them by Day 7. Respond substantively to at least three classmates throughout the week. Address the following in your post:
- Identify at least one area where their persuasive message may be improved.
- Describe how you would convince your classmates professionally and effectively to consider your suggestion.
- Include a minimum of one scholarly and/or credible source in your reply that defends your position.

Prior to beginning work on this discussion, review and from your textbook and the Week 3 Weekly Lecture.
Write about an example of communication that could be improved by applying the visual design principles you read about this week. The communication can be any mediuma web page, a magazine ad, a promotional email, an illustration from a report, etceteraas long as you can display it in the discussion forum. To attach a file to the discussion forum, select the Attach button in the bottom left-hand corner when creating a discussion response.
In your post, identify the visual weaknesses and describe ways to fix them. Explain why the message is not as effective as it could be and how your suggestions would make it more effective.
