Beowulf why he was both a man and a myth

my thesis: Beowulf could have been a man or a myth maybe both he could be the way the author saw someone in their life or hero who saved them in battle and use them in the story that got more fictional As Time passed at least that’s what I think                 

the thesis can be tweaked a little bit to make a sound a bit better
