Documentary Project: The student is required to watch 5 documentary programs, throughout the semester, addressing any social problem. A one page essay for each program viewed is required. (One of the essays must address the problem of water shortage/conservation in the US and the world in the documentary Before the Flood). The essays will consist of a synopsis of the programs and how the programs relate to class material/social problems. These programs appear on programs such as PBS, History, Documentary sites, Netflix, Amazon, etc.
