Write about international monteray policy.

Description:
An op-ed (literally, published opposite the editorials) is an opinion essay published in a
newspaper that identifies a policy problem and communicates an argument or position on that
problem.
Your opinion essay should focus upon a substantive topic detailed in the 16 weeks of this class
(see syllabus and D2L page for details of the topics of the class).
Details:
Your essay should:
Identify a policy problem. This should clearly relate to international relations, which
means that at least two countries are involved and affected by the problem.
Discuss some of the root causes of the identified problem.
Propose at least one potential solution to the problem, discussing how this solution
addresses the problem and its root causes.
Draw upon some external references to offer evidence in support of the problem
identification and potential solution. This can include newspaper articles, readings from
class, or published reports and journal articles.
Be between 800 and 1200 words in length. Op-ed essays are clear and concise. So, you
should edit the essay multiple times before submitting it to make sure that you are not
waffling or straying from the main argument.
