Consult the Global Learning Qualifications Framework in: https://www.esc.edu/global-learning-qualifications-framework/
to develop a sense of both the three broad characteristics of college-level learning (Knowledge, Engagement, Integration) and eight more specific characteristics within these broad areas.
Identify 4-6 competencies that a student needs to demonstrate in order to successfully complete a PLA request. What does a student need to know and do? For each competency, provide:
a) a few examples of evidence (artifacts) that a student can use for each competency (the GLQF can help you with this)
b) 2-3 questions or prompts that can help a student create that evidence
c) 2-3 indicators of success – what is observable when a student demonstrates the competency?
(PLA is the evaluation and assessment of an individual’s life learning for college credit, certification, or advanced standing toward fiurther education ro training)
