Reflective essays ask the writer to consider a topic from a personal viewpoint. The reflective writing piece centers on the author’s feelings, opinions, attitudes and reactions to the assigned reading (poem, short story, drama, or viewing…but in this case, the drama, Hamilton). Writing a reflective piece typically eliminates the need for outside research, but the process still requires you to complete some basic elements of writing required by other essay formats.Word Count: 600 minimum.
