Explain your reasoning. Georgia is one of the states to have enacted a Stand Your Ground statute (). This statutes allows for a person to protect his home and property with force without having to first retreat (standing your ground). Also review Georgia statutes O.C.G.A. § 16-3-23, § 16-3-24, § 16-24.1, and § 16-3-24.2. Based on these statutes, what is your opinion of the Stand Your Ground provision?
