Stage 3: The next section of your assessment plan document will focus on evidence and method. This week you should also make revisions to Stages 1 and 2 of your project based on the advice you received from your group members in the peer reviews. Follow these prompts to guide your work:
- Evidence: How do you know? What is the evidence that a student has achieved each of your outcomes? What would convince you as a professional educator that a student had successfully achieved each learning outcome?
- Method: How will you find out? What is the most appropriate method(s) for collecting the evidence of student learning needed for each of your learning outcomes? Will you collect quantitative data, qualitative data, or both? How will you analyze the data? Draw upon your readings and experiences as a student and educator to select the best ways to document achievement of the outcomes.
- Revisions: Edit (and improve!) the first two stages of your plan based upon feedback from your peers.
