A 39-year-old patient with a history of amenorrhea, is recently married for the first time to a man who has two children from a previous marriage.  Currently, her periods are irregular.  She states that she wants to have a baby before its too late and that she and her husband have been having unprotected sex for about a year. They present to the fertility clinic wanting to know will she be able to have IVF performed.  Discuss factors that can be considered as contributing to her infertility.  Include three (3) possible reasons along with rationale for these reasons.—
