Our discussion on memory has identified several types of long-term memory stores, which hold different types of information. Two kinds of explicit, or conscious, memories are semantic memories and episodic memories. A well-known type of implicit, or unconscious, memory is a procedural memory.
The Assignment:
In this assignment, I would like for you to connect these concepts with memories from your life. Based on our chapter materials, as well as information you have learned in lecture, define and describe each of the three listed types of memories (semantic memory, episodic memory, procedural memory), and for each type of memory, provide a relevant example from your life.
Your assignment should be at least one full page, but no more than two pages, standard font (Times New Roman, size 11 or 12), and 1-inch margins.
