you will follow this outline:
1. Underline or highlight what is compelling, surprising and resonant in your colleague’s paper. Add brief notes in the paper or comments section.
2. Ask neutral questions about the paper itself. Do not have a tone of judgment, only curiosity. Add those questions to comments section or on the paper.
3. If the writer asked you specific questions about the work, answer those in the comments section or on the paper.
4. If the writer asked for your opinions about how the work might be improved, offer those as well. General comments: Be sure to offer comments that are helpful and good-natured.
