In this course, you will learn how to read and interpret research. To help with this, students will be required to summarize three journal articles. The goal of this assignment is two-fold, 1) it demonstrates the mastery of reading and understanding research; and 2) it provides students with an opportunity to summarize research without plagiarism. All journal article summaries will be run through TurnItIn plagiarism detection software. Journal Article Summaries should be two pages double spaced and should include a summary of the background literature, theory tested in the study, hypotheses or research questions, methods used, findings (results), and one to two sentences describing implications or takeaways. Journal Article Summaries are due by 11:59pm on due date. THE ARTICLE IS NOT DUE UNTIL WEEK 7 (MARCH 8TH BY 11:59 PM)
