Specific presentation requirements:
A. The presentation will include at a minimum, four factors influential to the cost of prescription medications.
B. The student will select one widely prescribed drug for each of the following diagnosis (three medications presented total). Each drug will be reviewed in accordance to cost of manufacture, patent duration, cost to patient, and statistics of prescribed medication in the last two years.
1) Heart medication
2) Diabetes mellitus
3) Immune therapy
C. The student will present ideas based on scholarly research how to reduce the cost of prescription medication in the United States.
D. The number of PowerPoint slides will range from 6-12 total.
E. A Title slide needs to be the first slide. Included on the title slide: course name, student name, instructor name, semester, and date.
F. Each slide will need to be titled
G. The presentation needs to have 3-5 scholarly research sources that are within the last three years of publication.
H. The last page of the presentation will be a Reference with APA style of formatting.
