You have likely been exposed to the putative tension between science and religion through the media, your own social circles, or previous coursework. In this course, we will explore the cognitive and ideological roots of this tension. We will affirm the value of science and examine ways that science can be helpful to church while acknowledging its limitations. We will also discuss the limitations we face when seeking to interpret and apply the truths of Scripture. One of the goals of this course is that you would become a bridge-builder between the church and the scientific community.
