The topic that I choose is End of life. As a future healthcare worker end of life care becomes part of the daily tasks of a nurse including treating the patients as well as providing support to the family members and handling the PTSD associated with treating patients in end of life. According to the National Cancer Institute End of life care is defined palliative care, supportive care and hospice care to patients that have succumbed to their illness.

As a country and as a society finding ways to help both the patient and the family should be a top priority.           • Statement of Opinion: As a future nurse I believe I have to become very comfortable with end of life care for the benefit of my future patients, their relative and my own menta health. I am in favor of end of life care as long as it does not affect the family members and it does not become a financial hardship for them end of life care is a necessary part of life and the patients deserve to be treatment with respect and compassion.
