Conditions

This is Part 3 of 3 of the research paper on the condition you signed up for earlier in the semester. Remember that each section of the research paper should have academic and evidence-based sources incorporated using proper in-text citations.

INSTRUCTIONS – PART II

• Provide a brief description of a sample client (Follow format provided below)
• Write a paragraph discussing the most pressing needs for your client based on your perspective as a recreational therapist.
• Identify at least two client goals and a recreational therapy internship that can meet both of these goals (Sample goals provided below)
• Write one objective per each goal that could be met during the intervention you chose (Sample objectives provided below)
• Provide a description of the intervention and include the precautions, contraindications, and/or suggested RT leadership considerations based on the intervention chosen and the client needs. Use at least one evidence-based source to support your choice of intervention.

 

NOTES:

• Your client goals and objectives can be written in bullet point format, but the other content (your discussion of their needs an description of the chosen intervention) should be written in paragraph format. 
• Other forms of therapy (i.e. PT, OT, etc.) should NOT be referenced in your objectives. The goals and objectives need to be specific to recreational therapy
