Individual assignment: Materials and Methods in Layman Terms
The goal of this assignment is for you to better understand what each experiment is and why they are doing them.
Instructions:
Please write the methods section of your groups journal article in layman’s terms. Write the methods section, so that someone who is not familiar with the medical or cancer field can understand the methods. Remember that you can use google to help look up how an assay works. When you write out your methods section in layman’s terms explain what the assay is about. For example, if the researchers are doing western blotting, explain what a western blot does. Do not just say they used a PVDF membrane. Write out what a PVDF membrane is and what exactly gets transferred onto the membrane.
