After the lesson and the assessment of students’ performance have been completed, evaluate and report on the success of the lesson itself. In other words, perform a “post mortem” on your lesson. Among other information, use the results of the formative assessments that you provided the learners to evaluate the success of your lesson.
Determine and report your reasons for your lesson’s outcome. In doing so, consider the following:
- Alignment or misalignment of each of the types of learning activities to the terminal performance objectives
- Alignment or misalignment of the types of each means of formative assessment to the terminal performance objectives
- Utilization, under utilization, or no utilization of optimal conditions for adult learning
- Support your statements and responses with scholarly literature.
- Format the citations and references in APA style.
APA reference formatting skills:
The title of the source and volume number must be in italics. First names are not used in references. Initials must be used. The title of the article must be in sentence case. The year of publication must be in parenthesis. See p. 317 of the APA manual.
The research has to be discussed in the body of the work.
