Each year, Stanford Universitys Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence group releases its AI Index ReportPreview the document. This is a lengthy (222 pages), comprehensive overview of the current state of artificial intelligence. For this AI Project, you will choose a topic, issue, and/or technology identified in the report and research it in depth.

Please upload a ten-page paper (double-spaced, 12-point font, 1 margins), including citations and references, reporting the findings from your research.

TOPIC SELECTED: Ethical challenges of A.I. applications.
There is a lack of benchmarks and consensus on A.I. ethics. It is an important topic to study and discuss because it’s a massive issue for a society that is not getting enough attention as it is supposed to.
