Discussion Assignment Instructions
Overview
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, you are required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each Discussion. Responding to a classmate’s post requires both the addition of new ideas and analysis. A particular point made by the classmate must be addressed and built upon by your analysis in order to move the conversation forward. Thus, the response post is a rigorous assignment that requires you to build upon initial posts to develop deeper and more thorough discussion of the ideas introduced in the initial posts. As such, reply posts that merely affirm, restate, or unprofessionally quarrel with the previous post(s) and fail to make a valuable, substantive contribution to the discussion will receive appropriate point deductions.
Instructions
Assignment 1: Due by 10am Sunday August 28, 2022 (NO LATE WORK!)
Discuss the various strategies for determining the appropriate qualitative research method for a particular study. If you were to do a qualitative study for your dissertation, what approach/design would you choose, and why? Provide specific examples from the required reading and other credible sources

Thread
Each original thread must have a title-header, a subtitle for each discussion question, a minimum length of 500 words, at least two citations (scholarly articles, and incorporate ideas and citations from all of the required read and watch items for the assigned Learn material), and a Biblical integration. Further, each paragraph should have a minimum of four complete sentences with supporting citation(s).
Replies
In addition to the original thread, the student must reply to at least 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 250 words and include citations from at least 1 scholarly source. Each thread and reply must follow the current APA (current edition) format.
