Find an ongoing antitrust case that was developed within the past three years. That case should be related to one of the four topics that we covered in this course (monopolization, collusion, horizontal/vertical mergers, and vertical restraints). What I mean by “ongoing” is that the case you find should be one where the court result has not yet come out.
Then, summarize the case including providing the main arguments of the plaintiffs and defendants.
Then, discuss the outcome that you think will be most likely. When you discuss this, you should provide reasoning to back-up your prediction. To be clear, there is no right or wrong answer for this.
Example cases could be, for instance, Apple v. Epic Games, Google’s monopolization case, Visa and Plaid merger, etc. Please note that I am not saying that you must write on these topics. Feel free to pick your own.
