Imagine you are an experienced manager of a health unit, and you have been asked by your supervisor to devise a standardized training for all new health care managers. Create a presentation using PowerPoint or another similar format that covers all the basic skills, competencies, and management functions a new health care manager will need. Be sure to include the following elements in your training:
- basic management functions such as planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling
- common competencies for managers
- hiring process
- key components of corrective action and performance improvement
- budget responsibilities, including development and management
Your presentation should be at least 10 slides, not counting the title and reference slides. Your presentation should include speaker notes that expound on the topics included in your presentation and would aid you in providing an orientation to a group of new managers.
Include at least 2 outside sources. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.
