Everyone is eligible to complete up to 2 research paper reflections. For each article summary and reflection, you must read a recent peer-reviewed article (within the last 5 years) related to health psychology.  The article must be a data-based study (i.e., data were collected, presented, and analyzed), not a review article (i.e., an article where no new data are presented).  Please use the PsycInfo database to locate your article(s): http://libguides.fiu.edu/PsycINFO (Links to an external site.) and click on the link on the left, where it says “access psycinfo here”

Each one will be worth up to 1 percentage point added onto your final semester grade (you can earn up to 2 percentage points added to your final grade). To receive full credit for your reflection, you must turn in a 2-3 page (double-spaced) summary of the article along with a pdf copy of the full article. Your summary should address your thoughts about the article (e.g., What did you think about it?, What did you learn?, How did it relate to ideas presented in the text or in class?, Did it raise other interesting questions for you? How can you relate the study findings to your past, present, or future health behavior?).
