In Unit 1, you examined a study for a specific crime of your choice to explore the research method and findings. In this unit, you will research the crime you chose in Unit 2 and explore it further. You will complete the following:
- Find 8–10 scholarly articles or studies concerning the crime published within the last 5 years, and create an annotated bibliography for each article.
- Summarize the findings to identify behavior patterns, background, trends, discipline or rehabilitation, or other commonalities or differences.
- Identify the primary theories that may cause that specific crime.
- Examine the current articles or studies, and summarize a study that you would conduct to fill the gaps in the literature to address your specific crime that could help change policies, procedures, or legislation.
