After reading chapter 26 in the text book, students will give the word for word definitions of quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing as defined in the text. Next, students will write out two, word for word examples of quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing that are given in the book (there will be six examples all together). That means that all punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure will be exactly as it is in the text.
