A BP covers the topical areas that a business leader would want/need to know in order to make the best business decision about incorporating a product or service. I would like you to take the perspective of you as the subject matter expert (SME) in a company where you work – or would like to work (could be a fictious company). You are advising – not selling – based on your technical and industry experience.
I recommend that you find a Business Proposal template and build your content in it. A template like this will already have the sectional headings that need to be addressed. You can find such templates in many places on the internet; some are available with the Microsoft Office and Google Office products. Find one of these templates and use it as a guide for the content that you want to add. Remember – you are NOT selling, so you might need to redesign the template slightly that you find to fit your perspective.
Write from a professional posture following all of the standards that you know for graduate-level writing. In this case/assignment you are providing your recommendation regarding the best option for management to consider whether Android or iOS is the best choice of platform. If a manager is to take your recommendation, you must first be a subject-matter expert; even then, your advice must be more than opinion – it must be supported by your knowledge of the company/industry, and supported by others in your field. So, remember to cite some sources that support whatever your point of view. This does not have to be a lengthy document. In fact, for management consumption, you usually want each section to be succinct as possible while covering the necessary information.
