Assignment: Your second paper should be 3-4 pages long, typed, and double spaced. Please pick one of the following topics, or discuss an alternative topic with me.
- How does the media influence our personality? Consider thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. (Note that this is a very broad question, and you may consider any social factors you’d like!)
- How does the situation impact personality development. Discuss, bringing in the ideas of Sullivan, Murray, Mischel, and Allport. Use examples from your life to elaborate.
- Does being male or female impact our personality? How much of this is genetic and how much of this is social? Discuss, using evidence from your experience, course powerpoints, and the textbook.
