analyze Chris’s goals for his journey and try to determine if you consider him “successful”. Start by explaining what you think Chris was searching for. This explanation should include information about transcendentalism and a quote from “Nature”. Once you have defined how Chris understand success/enlightenment, you should write about how he attempted to achieve this enlightenment. And then lastly, you need to reflect on if you think Chris ultimately finds enlightenment. How do you know if he did or did not? In the conclusion you can add some personal reflection if you relate to Chris’s ideas of enlightenment.
This entire essay should be SPECIFIC and include a PERSONAL INTERPRETATION. Do not be vague “Chris liked nature and wanted to be in it”.
You can use personal pronouns sparingly but try to avoid them as best you can. “I think” or “I believe” are not necessary in an essay written by yourself.
