In approximately 700-800 words, choose three of the principles (e.g.liberty, equality, natural rights, consent of the governed, religious freedom, private property, spirit of enterprise, rule of law, constitutionalism, self-government, and sovereignty) we have studied this semester that you believe America desperately needs to return to and briefly explain why. Draw upon any of the sources you read or viewed throughout the semester. Demonstrate how Progressivism challenges, even contradict, the principles you chose. Be sure to defend your response with sound critical analysis. Your essay should be organized, coherent, supported, and well-written.
