Include a minimum of four pieces of research in the essay. Each supporting paragraph must contain a quotation from the novel to provide convincing support of your interpretation. Research must be actually documented.
The controlling idea is gender roles for women. How does survival force Katniss to abandon or adopt traditional expectations for women? Provide examples of feminine and masculine examples of gender roles throughout the story.
There needs to be a theory that needs to be proven or a question that needs to be answered throughout the comparison. The two characters being compared must be compared along the same points and equal attention should be given to both characters. Analysis needs to be given.
